ABOUT THE FILM
Virgil, a man in his mid-forties, feels that he's let his two children, Sophie, 13, Chris, 17, and wife, Maggie, down when his business collapses and the collectors start calling. He concludes that his family is better off without him and decides to end his life. Unexpectedly, however, Chris comes home early, discovers his semi-unconscious father in the running car and saves his father's life. Afterwards, Virgil tries to avert the uncomfortable truth by taking his son to a diner, only to find out that Chris is tired of skirting the issue and playing pretend. Will they find the true meaning of life, family and success amidst stale coffee and fried eggs?
What does your money go toward?
S.A.G. actors' stipend, sound tapes, food, gas, paper, Avid editing time and applications for film festivals (heh, they're not free!) -- the good news is, as film makers, we stretch your dollar to the max and make it count.
What do you get in return?
Well, for $10, you get a DVD copy of the film, your name on the film (in our special thanks section, directly after the Cast and Crew Credits), AND a seat at the special sponsor viewing.
When's the last time you got such a great entertainment deal for your money? -- And the best thing is, YOU helped to create it!
